Morass collects nothing about you. There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and no account to create. We, awryLabs, never receive your data, because the app never sends any to us. We don't run a server.
What stays on your device Local only
Your games, settings, statistics, and skill rating are stored on your device (and in your own iCloud, if you've enabled it, see below). They are never transmitted to us.
Apple services Morass uses Apple managed
Some optional features rely on Apple's own services. When you use them, Apple, not awryLabs, handles the associated data, under Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive or store it.
Game Center (optional multiplayer, leaderboards, achievements): if you sign in,
Apple manages your Game Center identity, the players you match with, and your scores. We only see
what's needed to show a match on your screen, in the moment.
iCloud (optional sync): if enabled, your game data syncs through your
iCloud account. It stays within Apple's iCloud; we have no access to it.
In-app purchases (the optional tip jar): payments are processed by Apple through
the App Store. We never see your payment details, only the anonymous, aggregate sales totals
Apple reports to all developers.
No tracking, ever Data Not Collected
Morass does not track you across apps or websites, contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and uses no advertising identifier. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
Children's privacy Safe
Morass is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Two age-based limits apply, using Apple's Declared Age Range and Game Center age signals: online play through Game Center, which requires players to be 13 or older, is turned off for players under 13; and the tip jar is hidden for players under 18. The app also respects the parental controls a guardian sets in Screen Time. We do not knowingly collect data from children, or from anyone. More for parents →
Cookies / the website
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
Changes to this policy
If Morass ever changes what it does with data, we'll update this page and the App Store privacy label before that change ships. Today, the answer is simple: nothing leaves your device to us.
